Complaints process
Last updated: 2 November 2026
We want everyone who uses DebtHelp247 to be treated fairly. If you're unhappy with any part of our service, please tell us so we can put it right. Making a complaint is free.
How to complain
You can contact us by:
- Email: complaints@debthelp247.co.uk
Please include your name, the phone number or email address you gave us, and a short description of what went wrong and how you'd like us to put it right. If you need extra support or would like us to make any adjustments, just let us know.
What happens next
- We'll acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days.
- We'll look into it fairly and may contact you for more information.
- We aim to send you our final response within 8 weeks. If we need longer, we'll write to explain why and when you can expect to hear from us.
Complaints about a partner firm
We are a lead generator and don't provide debt advice or debt solutions ourselves. If your complaint is about the advice or service you received from a partner firm, such as a debt advice company or insolvency practitioner, please complain to that firm directly using their own complaints process. If you're not sure who to contact, get in touch and we'll tell you which firm we passed your details to.
If you're still not happy
- For complaints about how we've used your personal information, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Our ICO registration number is ZB838730.
- For complaints about a debt advice firm, you may be able to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service once that firm has given its final response.
- For complaints about an insolvency practitioner, you can use the Insolvency Service complaints gateway.
